Alaska

We want to visit Alaska. When should we come? What should we do?

These questions – I often get asked.
If I could answer the when question with any accuracy, I’d be rich. I am not. But I am pretty good at offering opinions about what you should do while you are here.

Through the years I’ve posted some of our Alaska explorations:
We Want to Visit Alaska This Summer…..
Grey Whale Watching Cruise
Variations on a Cruise with Major Marine Tours
Denali National Park
Hiking Mt Baldy – Chugach Mountains
Overnight at the Eagle River Rapids Yurt
Hiking Arctic Valley
Kuplink! Kulplank! Kuplunk! Blueberries in Arctic Valley
Carr-Gottstein Park and Beyond
Portage Pass Trail
Hike to Rabbit Lake
Rapids Yurt in August

And some thoughts on what it’s been like (for me) to live in Alaska:
