Everything Happens For A Reason: And other lies I’ve loved – Kate Bowler

February 25, 2018 by Jennifer

Everything Happens For A Reason Kate Bowler

“I can’t reconcile the way that the world is jolted by events that are wonderful and terrible. The gorgeous and tragic. Except I am beginning to believe that these opposites do not cancel each other out. …..joy persists somehow and I soak it in.”

Found this one through Kate Bowler’s excellent interview with Terry Gross. And this from Rachel Martin. I didn’t end up liking this book as much as I thought I would, but the interviews were a good sell.
