Paradox on Wisdom Road

August 24, 2018 by Jennifer

Rob Bell on The RobCast 8.19.18:
….there is this paradox. This tension. This polarity that we all carry around between what we can control, and what we can’t. That which, when our hand is on the wheel, we can actually steer. And that which exists outside of our power, will, and dominion. That which is simply going to do what it is going to do.

hand on the wheel

….Wisdom comes from making peace with the tremendous power you have and the tremendous powerlessness you have.

Just thinking.
And learning to live the questions.
